Enjoying the proper life-work balance and being rewarded for your unique skills are common primary care physician aspirations yet are difficult to find. At EHS, we are fortunate to have both and are now looking to add another exceptional physician to our team.

The Position: (Bethesda, MD) This Board Certified Physician will provide direct medical care and support for EHS patients. This position is responsible for the delivery of top-quality medical care for acute and chronic care, and management of patient care plans. With a panel of no more than 400 clients per doctor, the focus is on personalized, timely, proactive care delivered with professionalism and valued customer service.  With limited panels of patients, our doctors and EHS' highly professional support staff are able to build strong long-term bonds with each patient. 

The position requires excellent medical knowledge and problem solving skills. The position routinely interacts with a diverse population, including physicians, staff, and patients, as well as the public. Outstanding teamwork with the Support Staff is also required to effectively handle the practice’s workload – with its personalized care, attention to detail, high quality service expectations, and rapid turn-around of information and care plans.

Our patients and practice requires EHS hire only the best doctors.  As a result, the salary and bonus will be highly competitive from the start, with 'Fortune 500  benefits', including matching 401K, health and dental insurance, CME allowance, expenses to stay technologically current, etc. We are100% outpatient. Multiple hospital systems, ancillary services and regional centers of excellence allows high quality care and consultation, and unfettered referrals when needed. Peppered with parks, trails, golf course, shops, it has some of the highest ranked public and private schools in the country.

Skill Set Required: Physician candidates should have proven success in building deep, respectful and long-term relationships with their patients. Critical skills include excellent medical expertise, the ability to build strong rapport with patients; a commitment to patient advocacy and leading-edge medicine, and the ability to work with a tight-knit team of doctors and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care with 24/7 availability. Patient panel is capped at 400 people (yes, 1/8th the volume of the average practice!).

  • comfort with technology and the use of electronic communication
  • commitment to comprehensive and timely patient care
  • Commitment to excellent care, including involvement in practice improvements and service enhancements
  • Clear, fluent English speaking with good communication skills, but other languages are a plus
  • Works well with staff, be empathetic and understand good medicine is still a service-oriented business
  • Promote the reputation of the practice both in the office and within the community, including opportunities to engage community at events or speaking opportunities if they arise
